Many celebrities want their skin to look its best with no down time for recovery. What is their secret to amazing skin? The HydraFacial. Unlike your average facial, a HydraFacial leaves your skin looking smooth, clear and glowing immediately with no revealing side effects. Best of all, it does not stop with the results you see right after your treatment. You will notice that your skin feels and looks healthier for weeks to come.
At Flower Mound Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Spa, we typically recommend the HydraFacial to busy patients who do not have time to spend recovering and want their skin looking immediately rejuvenated and feeling healthier than ever.

How Does The HydraFacial Work?
The HydraFacial is gentle, simple and effective – just the way your skin likes it. It usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour to complete the entire procedure at Flower Mound Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Spa. The treatment is customized to provide the best solution possible for different skin concerns.
The HydraFacial is made possible with the special Vortex-Fusion serum delivery system. This system carefully cleanses, precisely exfoliates and gently extracts to remove toxins and dead skin cells from your skin while also rejuvenating it with vital nutrients. This system allows the serums to work quickly, effectively and gently, giving you immediate results with no irritation or downtime whatsoever.
Here are the general HydraFacial procedure steps, which may vary from patient to patient:
Step 1: Cleansing and Exfoliation
Our aesthetician uses a small “deplaning” tool that opens up pores and sweeps the uppermost layer of makeup debris and dead skin cells away.
Step 2: Acid Peel
Most glycolic peels leave your skin stinging for a few minutes until they’re washed off, but not this one. The glycolic/salicylic acid peel is gentle enough that it only creates the faintest tingle.
Step 3: Extractions
If you’re the type of person who gets off on seeing what comes out of your clogged pores, this is the part of the treatment you’ll love. Instead of performing manual extractions, our aesthetician uses something called a vortex-extraction nozzle that acts as a vacuum. The sucking sound it makes is oddly satisfying, but the best (or the worst?) part is the cup at the base of the machine that shows exactly what was extracted—and it’s more than you think.
Step 4: Serum Application
This step uses the vortex-fusion tool, which infuses an antioxidant-and-collagen-rich serum into the skin to promote elasticity and hydration.
How Is It Different Than Other Facials?
The unique delivery system is what really sets the HydraFacial apart from other facials. Precise delivery allows for painless and deep exfoliation, pore cleansing and skin smoothing without irritating or damaging your skin in any way. This allows it to provide immediate results to everyone, including patients with very sensitive skin. The system is also extremely accurate, allowing it to perfectly even out your skin tone and texture and specifically target signs of aging.
